I’m in Paris, lovely Paris, where the Seine has risen over its banks, the trains are slowed by rotating strikes, and the Louvre is closed. I’m spending a week with the Brigade Cynophile, learning about how police K9 teams are trained and utilized here. Every day brings new challenges and adventures. I'm also managing to find time to enjoy this beautiful city:
Last week I was in London with the Metropolitan Police, doing the same. Each experience has been fantastic, and each very different. I know that my book will be transformed by these transformative experiences.
